The Fall Craft Show Season is in full swing, and many "makers' of fine crafts are taking their handmade crafts to a variety of shows. The Fall Season typically begins in late September, and continues into the Holiday Buying months of November and December.

We have crafting friends who may do a show every weekend. Although we've had that busy a schedule in the past, the five shows on our schedule this Fall are spaced to give us 10 to 14 days between shows. This allows us some time to replenish our inventory as needed, and bounce back from the physical and mental exertion that doing a show requires.

We have three shows remaining on our calendar, and they all are local, requiring no more than 30 minutes of travel time, one way. Two of these remaining shows have set-up time available the day before, which really helps with moving tables and boxes of product to your booth space.

While a show certainly provides an opportunity to sell your handmade products, speaking with customers, responding to questions, and getting a sense of current trends is really the unique feature of each and every show.

Our booth includes a broad assortment of all of our products--jewelry sets, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pendants and pendant-earring sets.  During the first two shows this season, many customers were attracted to two of our Jewelry Sets, shown below.

Earrings and Pendants were popular and frequent purchases. Some of our earrings are currently featured in the Sale Tab on our Home Page. We are also introducing Pendant and Earring Sets at our Fall Shows. These sets are a great gift idea. You'll find the Earrings, Pendants and Pendant and Earring Sets under "SHOP", at the top right of our home page.

Next week we'll be at the Main Street Boutique in the Worship Center on New Holland Pike in Lancaster, PA. This event is rather unique, as it's held on a Tuesday, with free child care during the morning hours. The show closes at 1 pm, and re-opens at 5 pm, just in time for after-work shopping. I visited this show last year, and knew that I wanted to participate this year!

On Saturday, November 22nd, we'll be part of the Furever Home Annual Fall Fundraiser.  A friend told me about this show, and I'm glad she did! Furever Home is a rescue and adoption center for cats. Since Lee and I are "pet parents" to four felines, supporting this event was an easy decision. It's being held at the Four Seasons Golf Resort in Landisville, PA. Hours are 9-3 with lots of businesses and crafters taking part. Free admission and parking, and good food available!
