Show Time! November 8, 2015

September through December is a popular time for Craft Shows. As the weather begins to change, the shows move to indoor venues, and shoppers head to local and regional shows to purchase holiday gifts, treat themselves, and combine shopping with a pleasant outing with family or friends.

Our shows this season are of the local variety, and our somewhat crazy--and busy--schedule starts this week with a return to Main Street Boutique on Tuesday, November 10th. We did Main Street last year, and found it to be a very pleasant show in a warm and friendly environment. Sales were good, the coordinator and her staff do a great job making sure both the customers and the craft vendors are happy and enjoy the show.

The Main Street Boutique is held on a Tuesday, which is a bit unusual, from 9 am to 1 pm and reopens from 5 pm to 8 pm. Vendors may leave during the afternoon break, or remain and enjoy some quiet time, which is my choice. The morning hours bring a mix of young moms with a child in their stroller, often pushed by a smiling grandma. The evening hours bring a mix of shoppers from the high school crowd to business professionals. All in all, a show we greatly enjoyed last year and are looking forward to a return visit.

If you are in the area and plan to visit, print a copy of this flyer and you'll receive a free entry for the door prize drawings.

After Main Street Boutique, we have three days to catch our breath, restock our jewelry as needed, and get ready for our next show--Christmas in the Country. We were on the "wait list" last year, but I visited on show day, and was happy to be invited to participate this year.

I'll recap the Main Street Boutique show later this week, and provide more information on the Christmas in the Country Show. For now, here's the charming logo and date, time and place for our second show.

Our third November show will be at St. Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Avenue, Columbia, PA 17512. A visitor to one of our shows last year gave our business card to the show coordinator at St. Anne's, and suggested inviting us. This is a two-day show, Friday and Saturday, and will be a new type of venue for us. Visit our show schedule and stay tuned for my updates of our shows!
